BullGPT Free: Is There a Free Version? (And 6 That Are)

BullGPT is not free. There is no free plan and no free trial: its homepage lists $40 per month or $180 once for lifetime access, and its terms of service describe a paid recurring subscription with no trial period mentioned anywhere. If you came here hoping for a free version, that is the answer in full. The rest of this page covers what the signup step actually gives you and where to get AI chart analysis for nothing.
Disclosure. I am the founder of Bullynx, which competes with BullGPT, and one of the six free options below is ours. I have listed it in the same format as the others, with the same trade-off stated honestly, and it is not first. Every claim about every tool here comes from that vendor's own public pages, linked at the bottom.
Key takeaway
BullGPT has no free tier and no free trial, and its refund policy excludes change of mind, so there is no back door either. Genuinely free AI chart analysis does exist: TradingView's AI Chart Copilot and SuperTrader's tool cost nothing, ChartAnalyst.ai gives a free preview plus trial credits, and Bullynx gives you one chart read free with no account at all. Every one of them limits something different.
Is BullGPT free? The short answer
No, and the site is not ambiguous about it. Two plans are published, $40 per month and $180 as a one-time lifetime payment, and neither is free. The terms of service, which is the document the vendor is actually accountable for, describes a recurring paid subscription throughout and mentions no trial anywhere.
One thing on the homepage causes confusion and is worth naming. The site invites you to sign up in two minutes "with no commitment." That is account creation. It is not a free plan, and it is not the same as being able to see an analysis before paying. If a free evaluation is what you are after, the signup step will not give you one.
Is there a BullGPT free trial?
No published trial exists. And the usual workaround, buying one month and asking for your money back, does not work here either.
BullGPT's terms state that all sales are final and that the operator maintains a strict no-refund policy. Two exceptions are listed: a complete platform outage of 24 or more consecutive hours, with documented evidence and a support ticket within 48 hours, or a verified duplicate charge claimed within seven days. Change of mind is excluded explicitly, as are trading losses. The terms also state that unauthorised chargebacks result in permanent account termination.
Put the two together and the practical position is clear: the minimum cost of finding out whether BullGPT suits you is $40, non-refundable. That is not a scam, and I have written separately about whether BullGPT is legit, where the answer is yes. It is simply a commercial design that puts all of the evaluation risk on the buyer. Our BullGPT pricing breakdown covers what the two plans include.
Why "free" matters more in this category than most
For most software you can judge value from a feature list. Here you cannot, because the feature list is identical across every vendor and the product is the output.
Every tool in this space does the same thing on paper: you upload a chart screenshot, it returns trend, support and resistance, indicators, and long and short scenarios. Read three landing pages and they blur together. The entire difference between a tool worth $40 a month and a tool worth nothing lives in whether the analysis is specific, whether the levels are right, and whether it hedges into uselessness. None of that is visible from marketing copy.
That is why "is BullGPT free" is one of the most common searches around this product. People are not looking for a bargain. They are looking for a way to evaluate a product whose quality cannot be evaluated any other way.
The four shapes of "free" in AI chart analysis
Before the list, it helps to know what you are being offered, because four very different things all get labelled free.
Free forever with a cap. A permanent tier with a hard usage limit, usually a small number of analyses per month. Honest, and useful for evaluation, but not a workflow.
Free credits, then a wall. A handful of analyses on signup, after which you pay. Effectively a trial with a different name. Fine, as long as the credit count is enough to form a judgement.
Free preview, results locked. You get the analysis run but the valuable parts, typically entry, stop loss and targets, are hidden until you register or pay. This is a lead-capture mechanism dressed as a free tier. Not dishonest if disclosed, but know what it is.
Free because something else pays. Ads, or a free tool that funnels into a paid product. Genuinely free to you; just be aware the incentive is attention rather than accuracy.
When you evaluate a free tier, the question is not "how much do I get" but "is it enough to reach a verdict." Two or three real analyses on charts you already know is usually enough. One preview with the levels blurred out is not.
Six ways to get AI chart analysis for free in 2026
Here is what each one actually gives you and what it costs you in return. Every figure below comes from the vendor's own published pages.
| Tool | What is free | The trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| TradingView AI Chart Copilot | Free to all TradingView users, beta | Chrome-based browsers only, daily limits possible |
| SuperTrader Chart AI Analyst | Free, no login, no card | Vendor accuracy claims are unverifiable, no history |
| ChartAnalyst.ai | 1 preview scan, then 3 trial credits | Entry, stop and targets locked until you register |
| Bullynx (ours) | One chart read, no account, no card | One read is a sample, not a workflow |
| Chart Analyzer AI | Free chart analysis tier | Published accuracy figures have no methodology |
| ChatGPT / Gemini free tiers | General assistant that accepts a chart image | You supply the prompt discipline and the scepticism |
TradingView AI Chart Copilot. TradingView's own announcement describes the beta as available to all TradingView users, and states that "to keep it sustainable and free, we may limit daily usage." It is the strongest free option for anyone already living inside TradingView, because the AI sits on the chart you are already looking at rather than on a screenshot of it. The constraints are real: it runs as an extension in Chrome or Chromium-based browsers only, it is still in public beta, and the usage ceiling is undefined by design.
SuperTrader's Chart AI Analyst. Free with no login and no card, which makes it the lowest-friction way to see what a chart read looks like. Its page advertises pattern identification across thirty or more patterns, analysis in around three seconds, and states an 80 to 85 percent pattern identification accuracy figure alongside a count of over 62,000 charts analysed. Those are the vendor's published claims and no methodology accompanies them, so treat them as marketing rather than measurement. As a zero-commitment calibration tool it is still genuinely useful.
ChartAnalyst.ai. You get one free preview scan without an account. After that the interface tells you the preview is complete and offers three free trial credits in exchange for signing in with Google and completing a profile. The catch worth knowing in advance: on the free preview the entry, stop loss and take profit levels are locked, so the preview shows you the format rather than the answer. Paid access starts at $2.99 for seven days. Our full ChartAnalyst.ai review covers the plans and the operator in detail.
Bullynx, which is ours. You get one chart read with no account and no card at all, including the long or short verdict, the structure and the strongest key level. I will be blunt about the limit, because it is the same honesty I am asking of everyone else on this list: one read is enough to judge the tool and not enough to trade with, and the trade plan itself (entry, stop, targets, invalidation) is part of the paid product. It exists so you can answer the evaluation question that BullGPT's pricing does not let you answer. If you want it as a working tool rather than a sample, that is what our paid plans are for, and you should decide that after the free read rather than before.
Chart Analyzer AI. A free chart analysis tier covering stocks, forex, crypto, commodities and futures per its homepage. Its site advertises "over 85% accuracy" while a live counter on the same page shows a different figure, with no published methodology behind either. Our Chart Analyzer AI review digs into why that number cannot be checked by anyone, including the vendor.
General assistants. Google's published plan comparison shows the free Gemini tier accepting and working with images, and ChatGPT's free tier has similarly accepted image uploads, though both vendors change these limits often enough that you should check the current plan page rather than trust an article. A general model will read a chart, but it will not structure the read for you and it has no live market data. OpenAI's own vision documentation states that its models struggle with graphs where line styles vary and with tasks requiring precise spatial localisation, which is exactly what reading a price level off an axis requires. We tested this workflow properly in BullGPT vs ChatGPT and in can ChatGPT read stock charts: the short version is that a general model can do it but needs far more prompting to produce a consistent, usable format.
What a free tier can and cannot tell you
This is the part most comparison articles skip, and it is the reason the free question is worth taking seriously at all.
A free tier can answer three questions well.
Does the output format fit how you think? One analysis settles this. Some tools give you a wall of prose, some give you a structured brief, some commit to a direction and some hedge everything. There is no objectively correct answer, only the one you will actually read at 7am.
Are the levels plausible? Take a chart you already know intimately, run it, and check every number it reports against the actual chart with your own eyes. This is the highest-value fifteen minutes you can spend on any tool in this category, and it is the only way to find out whether a vendor's numbers survive contact with reality.
Is the tool honest about what it cannot see? Upload a deliberately bad screenshot, one with the price axis cropped off or blurred beyond reading, and see what happens. A tool that returns confident support and resistance levels from an image with no readable axis has told you something important about its whole output. A tool that refuses and says it cannot read the chart reliably has told you something better. On our side this refusal path is deliberate, and I mention it only because it is the specific behaviour to test on any vendor you are considering.
A free tier cannot answer the question that actually decides value: whether the quality holds across fifty charts, on your instruments, over weeks. No vendor will let you test that for free, and any vendor claiming a free tier proves it is overselling. That question gets answered by one paid month, which is exactly why the ability to cancel matters more than the price.
A fifteen-minute protocol for spending a free tier well
If you only have a handful of free analyses, do not waste them on random charts. Spend them like this.
- Pick a chart whose outcome you already know. Something that resolved cleanly last month, on an instrument you trade. Crop the right-hand side so the resolution is not visible.
- Run it, and read the levels first. Ignore the narrative and the confidence percentage. Check whether the support and resistance it names line up with the swing points you can see. This is the accuracy test that matters.
- Run the exact same image again. Compare the two answers. Materially different levels for an identical input is a measurable defect, not a matter of taste, and it takes thirty seconds to find.
- Run the deliberately unreadable screenshot. See whether it refuses or invents.
- Ask yourself whether you learned anything. Not whether the tool was impressive. Whether it told you something about the chart you had not already noticed. For most experienced traders the honest answer on any of these tools is "it saved me time on description, not on judgement," and that is still a real benefit if you value your time.
That protocol works on every tool in this category and costs you nothing but attention. It will tell you more than any review, including this one.
If you decide to pay anyway
There is nothing wrong with paying for BullGPT if it reads the markets you trade. Two things to settle first.
Check the asset scope. BullGPT's terms describe its coverage as cryptocurrency, forex and commodities. Stocks and ETFs are not named. If equities matter to you, that is decisive on its own and no amount of output quality changes it. That single line is the reason most people end up comparing BullGPT alternatives.
Take the monthly plan, not the lifetime one. With no free tier, no trial and no refund for change of mind, the $180 lifetime plan concentrates every unknown into one irreversible payment. $40 a month costs more over a year and buys you the right to stop. Our BullGPT review covers what you get for it, and the best AI trading tools 2026 comparison puts the whole category side by side.
The bottom line
BullGPT is not free, has no trial, and its refund terms close the only other door. That is the complete answer to the search.
The more useful answer is that you do not need BullGPT to be free, because free AI chart analysis exists elsewhere and its purpose is not to replace a paid tool. It is to tell you, before you spend anything, whether this entire workflow is worth paying for. Spend an afternoon on the free options with your own charts. If the reads change how you look at a setup, buy the tool that covers your markets. If they do not, you have saved $40 and learned something more valuable than either.
Educational only. Not financial advice. AI chart analysis from any provider, free or paid and including Bullynx, is a research aid that can be wrong. Verify every level and figure against your own chart before it influences a decision.
Frequently asked questions
- Is BullGPT free?
- No. BullGPT publishes no free plan and no free trial. Its homepage lists $40 per month or $180 as a one-time lifetime payment, and its terms of service describe a paid recurring subscription throughout with no trial period mentioned anywhere in the document. The signup step the site advertises as taking two minutes with no commitment is account creation, not free access to the analysis.
- Does BullGPT have a free trial?
- No free trial is published on the site or described in the terms of service. The closest thing to a trial would be buying a month and asking for a refund, and that route is closed: the terms state that all sales are final under a strict no-refund policy, with exceptions only for a 24-hour outage with documented proof or a verified duplicate charge. Change of mind is excluded explicitly.
- Is there a free BullGPT alternative?
- Several tools in this category do publish genuinely free access. Bullynx, which is our product, lets you read one chart at $0 with no account and no card required. ChartAnalyst.ai gives one free preview scan plus three trial credits after you register. TradingView's AI Chart Copilot is free to all TradingView users in beta, subject to daily usage limits. SuperTrader's Chart AI Analyst is free with no login at all. Each free tier limits something different, so pick the one whose limit you can live with.
- What can you actually learn from a free tier?
- Three things, and they are the three that matter most. Whether the output format suits how you think, which you know from one analysis. Whether the levels it reports match what you can see on a chart you already know well, which you can check by hand. And whether the tool refuses a deliberately unreadable screenshot or invents levels anyway, which is the single best honesty test there is. What a free tier cannot tell you is whether the quality holds up across fifty charts, and no vendor will let you test that for nothing.
- Why does BullGPT not offer a free tier?
- Only the operator can answer that, and it has not published a reason. The commercial logic in this category is straightforward: vision model calls cost real money per analysis, so a free tier is a direct cost that a small operator may not want to carry. The trade-off is that buyers cannot evaluate output quality before paying, which is the most common reason people search for alternatives to it.
- Are free AI chart tools any good?
- Good enough to answer the question you should be asking, which is whether this workflow suits you at all. A free tier is a sample rather than the product. It will show you the format and let you sanity-check a few levels, and that is genuinely worth an afternoon before you spend anything. What no free tool can give you, and no paid one either, is a reliable prediction of what price does next.
