Chrome extension

Read any chart, without leaving the page.

Drag a box around a chart on any site and the Bullynx extension returns the trend, the levels that matter, both scenarios and the invalidation point, in a Chrome side panel.

What it does

The analysis comes to the chart, instead of the chart going to the analyzer.

Today the flow is screenshot, find the file, open Bullynx, upload, wait. The extension removes four of those five steps. What comes back is not a lighter version of the read you get in the app: it is the same pipeline, the same output shape, and the same quota.

What it does

  • Reads a region you select on any page, not only on one charting platform
  • Returns the same structured read as the app: trend, key levels, scenarios, and the invalidation point
  • Runs the analysis in the extension service worker, so the page you are on never sees your Bullynx session
  • Signs you in from your existing bullynx.com session, with no second login
  • Counts against the same monthly analysis quota as the app, not a separate allowance

What it does not do

  • Place, size, or manage a trade: Bullynx does not connect to a broker at all
  • Read live prices, the order book, or anything outside the pixels you selected
  • Work without Bullynx Pro, monthly or lifetime: the single analysis purchase does not cover it
  • Chat with Lynx, browse your history, or share a read: those stay in the web app
  • Capture anything on its own, since every capture is started by you clicking the icon

How it works

Four steps, one of which is yours.

01

Select the chart

Click the Bullynx icon on any page that has a chart on it, then drag a box around the part you want read. It works on a TradingView tab, a broker terminal, a research note, or a screenshot someone posted in Discord.

02

The extension crops the capture

The extension captures the visible tab and crops it to the region you drew, then downscales it so it stays under the size limit the analysis endpoint accepts. Nothing is sent until you have made a selection.

03

The same pipeline as the app runs

The cropped image goes to the same analysis endpoint the web app uses, with the same vision model behind it. It is not a lighter or faster variant, it is the same read.

04

The verdict opens in the side panel

The panel shows the verdict card first, then the key levels, the indicators read from the image, and the scenarios. A link takes you to the full report on bullynx.com when you want the whole thing.

Permissions and privacy

Why it does not ask to read every site you visit.

A chart reader needs to see one chart, on one tab, at the moment you ask it to. That is a much smaller request than access to every page you open, and it is the difference between an extension that acts when invoked and one that watches. Here is the full list and the reason for each entry.

activeTab

Lets the extension capture the tab you are looking at, and only after you started a capture. It shows no install-time warning because it grants nothing until you act. It covers the keyboard shortcut; the side panel, which stays open while you browse, outlives what activeTab can grant, so page access is asked for separately below.

Access to the page you capture, optional

Requested the first time you start a capture, never at install, so installing the extension shows no "read all your data on all websites" warning. Only the region you drag a box around is captured, and only when you drag it. You can withdraw the permission at any time from chrome://extensions.

sidePanel

Opens the panel the verdict is rendered in, next to the page instead of on top of it.

scripting

Injects the drag-to-select overlay onto the tab at the moment you start a selection.

storage

Keeps small local state such as the last panel view. No chart images are stored in the browser.

How the extension recognizes the session you already have on bullynx.com, so you are not asked to log in twice.

Two things follow from the design. Every request to Bullynx is made by the extension itself rather than by code running inside the page, so the site you are reading a chart on never sees your session or your analysis. And the capture is always started by you: there is no background job, no schedule, and no way for the extension to take a picture of a tab you did not point it at. The wider version of this argument, including what to check before installing anyone else's chart extension, is in what to look for in an AI chart analysis extension.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Bullynx Chrome extension do?
It lets you drag a box around a chart on any web page and returns a structured technical read in a Chrome side panel: the trend, the support and resistance levels, both scenarios, and the level that would invalidate the read. It is the same analysis the Bullynx web app produces from an uploaded screenshot, without the upload step.
Is the Chrome extension available yet?
Yes. Bullynx Chart Reader is on the Chrome Web Store, published by Bullynx. Installing it is free; reading a chart with it needs Bullynx Pro, monthly or lifetime.
Which sites does it work on?
Any page you can see a chart on, because it reads pixels rather than a platform API. A TradingView tab, a broker web terminal, a MetaTrader web client, a research PDF open in the browser, or a chart image someone posted in a Discord or Slack channel all work the same way.
Does it need permission to read every website I visit?
Not at install. The only page access it declares is optional: Chrome asks you to approve it the first time you start a capture, and you can decline or withdraw it from chrome://extensions. Even with it granted, the extension captures only the region you drag a box around, and only when you drag it.
Does the extension have its own price or quota?
No. It is included with Bullynx Pro and draws on the same monthly analysis quota as the web app, so a read in the side panel and a read in the app cost you the same thing. Pro is $39 a month, or $149 once for lifetime access, with 50 chart analyses a month either way. The single analysis purchase unlocks one read in the web app and does not cover the extension.
Do I have to log in again in the extension?
No. If you are signed in on bullynx.com, the extension picks up that session. If you are signed out, the panel shows a signed-out state with a link to sign in.
Can it see the page I am on, or my other tabs?
It captures only the tab you invoked it on, only when you invoke it, and only the region you drew. It does not run in the background, does not watch your browsing, and does not touch other tabs.
Is the analysis financial advice?
No. Every read the extension shows carries the same educational disclaimer as the app. Bullynx describes structure, levels and scenarios so you can make your own decision. It is not a broker, an adviser, or a signal service, and trading involves a significant risk of loss.

Outside Chrome, the same read is available from an uploaded capture on the chart screenshot analyzer, and AI chart analysis explains what comes back. If your charts live in TradingView, the snapshot steps that keep the price axis legible are in how to analyze TradingView screenshots with AI. Plans are on pricing.
